I joined the company BENEŠ a LÁT a.s. in September 2011 as a Technologist, where I spent two and a half years. During this time I gained a lot of valuable experience and had a unique opportunity to combine the theoretical knowledge acquired at the Technical University in Liberec with practical skills in the foundry industry. A few years later, when I was travelling around the world and strengthening my experience in the field of quality, I suddenly received a phone call from the director of the Slaná branch, who offered me the opportunity to return to the “family” as a quality manager. This offer was a clear signal to me that BENEŠ a LÁT a.s. values its  employees and is interested in their further development. I gladly accepted this opportunity. After half a year as Quality Manager and rejoining the team, I received a remarkable challenge – to become Plant Manager. I accepted the offer without hesitation and have been in this role ever since. I am proud to be part of a professional team that is not afraid to give people opportunities and support their potential, just as it happened in my case. I have been with BENEŠ a LÁT a.s. for over six years now and it still fills me with joy to face new challenges, projects and innovations that are common practice here. I am happy to be part of such a dynamic and promising organization.

I joined the company BENEŠ a LÁT a.s. in 2001, when there was a single production facility in Pruhonice. I was a recent graduate of CTU Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Prague, where I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and before that a four-year degree in Mechanical Adjuster at the Technical School in Trebic. I started my career in the company as an operations technologist. I worked there for three years and after familiarizing myself with the operation I was promoted to the position of development technologist. Since 2004 I have been involved in the design of technological solutions, implementing the industrial engineering method and leading the FMEA team. In addition to my work duties, I am also an internal lecturer at the Foundry Mini Academy, Casting defects and Standardisation. In recent years, I have also been very actively involved outside our company within the Czech Foundry Society. At the same time, I very often publish about our successes in the magazines Foundry and Foundry lists. One of the most important achievements is certainly the cooperation on the development of the 3rd generation low-pressure casting machine, being part of the team that compiled the defect catalogue, implementation of the OHS and ISO 45001 standards or cooperation with the development centre CARDAM. I like to work here because I find my work as a development technologist fulfilling and I can participate in its development. In addition, there is an excellent working company and a friendly team full of great and relaxed people.

I have been working for BENEŠ a LÁT since 03/2019. From very beginning I went through nearly all of positions in production department. As a first position was founder, then I worked as a set up operator, later as a technologist. After gaining experiences with production I was promoted to shift manager and currently I am working as a production manager. My career is an example of possibilities everyone can have in BENEŠ a LÁT. My colleagues and my managers are cooperative and interested if I raise any topic to be solved. I am happy I could have an influence on developing of position I was in. And all of experiences gained are priceless. I am able now to suggest improvement, and work on improving our processes. This is what keeps me feel satisfied and happy.

I have been working for Beneš and Lát since the company moved from Průhonice to Poříčany, it is more than 10 years. I appreciate the fact that the company allows me to do what I enjoy and that I can share my experience with younger colleagues. As a result of my demanding work I do, I attend a local elementary school every Tuesday for the fourth year, a workshop that the company reconstructed and equipped in 2015. I teach children to explore black craft and woodwork. I´m convinced and I believe, that it makes sense to focus on youth and future generations.

I started working for Beneš and Lát while I was studying the university. In these days I have been a part of BaL Family for more than 3 years. I am a living example of how open opportunities employees have. In 3 years I became from partime job to the position in top management of the company. Where there is a will, there is a way in Beneš and Lát.
